Our Domestic Violence Practice

We represent either party in a domestic violence action, handling cases involving allegations of spousal abuse or child abuse. This may take the form of physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, stalking or coercion.

The domestic violence clients we work with are generally most concerned about safety—for themselves and their children. We can help get you removed from a dangerous situation and get the court to order support, so that you can take care of yourself and your children. We can also help you get a restraining order or order for protection to keep an abusing spouse from coming in contact with you. When appropriate, we can also ask the court to place your spouse in an anger management program and limit any visitation with children to supervised visitation.
